Company profile
The company known today as B Logistik GmbH was established back in 2000 as Schumacher Dienstleistung und Logistik GmbH. In 2006, Mr Hubertus Beumer acquired shares in the company and took on a management role. In February 2010 Schumacher Dienstleistung und Logistik GmbH became B Logistik GmbH, which is now run by Mr Hubertus in his capacity as sole shareholder and managing director. In the first years of the company?s history it quickly became apparent that the added value of the goods was the core competence and therefore the mainstay of the company.This is reflected in the revenues generated to date. Direct services account for more than 50% of the company?s revenues. Continued modernisation and innovation have made B Logistik into a flexible service provider with around 170 permanent members of staff supported by around 60 part-time employees. The firm manages a total of 95,000 m² of covered logistics area and 30,000 m² of open-air storage space across 4 sites. Services for the sectors of industry, trade, distribution, pharmaceuticals and edible goods are rendered at all of our company?s sites. Alongside a standard warehouse, there is also a temperature-controlled warehouse, a warehouse for pharmaceuticals, and a bonded warehouse. As a certified logistics service provider we offer our clients - who come from a wide variety of sectors - a complete procurement, storage and distribution logistics service, as well as a fulfilment service. Our range of services includes all logistical processes from import handling of sea containers through to supplying the end customer. Reliable partner firms take care of transportation arrangements. In this regard, B Logistik places great emphasis on short routes. The offices of the partner shipping company are located at our main site. We guarantee that our clients can always place their trust in the quality of our services. To this end we continuously scrutinise our processes and structures with the objective of optimising them still further. For this reason, quality management-systems like DIN EN ISO 9001:2008 and IFS logistic standard are an obligation for us. |
